Aisha and Dave........Say What?!

Trish got this beautiful thank you note from our friend and snap! bride Aisha. Aisha just got her album and I think she likes it. Here's what she has to say:

I have been meaning to email you to tell you that we got our album and we love it so so so much!!! It is the most beautiful album that I have ever seen and I am sooooo happy that it happens to be ours!

I am honestly obsessed with it. Dave laughs because I ve looked at it so many times since we got it. I like to sit on the floor with it in this specific position with my face like 3 inches away from it so that I can examine every detail of every photo. It takes me like 5 minutes on each page. HaHaHa! There is something new that I see every time that I love! I never imagined that the photos would be so clear, they pop so much more than they do on the computer and I wasn't prepared for that!!! The chronology and the placement of the photos are absolutely perfect!

Everything really is beautiful about it, the leather is so pretty (and has such a great smell), the picture on the front, the high resolution photos. Oh, and you were definitely right, the bigger size was the perfect choice for us! Those photos that span both pages and are huge are my fav, the size has such an impact. They are more beautiful then I ever could have imagined. I look back at so many of the photos and it's amazing how they really captured the exact feeling that I was feeling in that exact moment. I can look at the photo and it immediately brings me back to that feeling. I love it!

Every time I look through our album it tells the story of our wedding and allows me to relive the day over and over, which is the best gift I could ever ask for! It is truly our first family heirloom that we can share now with our parents and we will show our kids and grand kids in the future, and cherish forever.

A Mutual Love Fest!

I got this super nice email from Karalyn today- you can see her photos below ... It just really reminds me why I love what I do so much. It feels good to make people feel good, don't you think? I told Karalyn that her super positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for the photos had a lot to do with the photos being so terrific.

I truly do not know where to begin with this thank you email....

Wow! First things first, when I saw all three of you there to shoot the wedding I was blown away and instantly thought I was the luckiest girl in the world! You guys were truly a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Traveling all over for the perfect Newport shots was such a blast and to say it paid off would be a complete understatement.

The photolounge was the biggest hit. People were literally insane for it. It was a total blast.

I can't even begin to express how blown away Erik and I, family and friends were by the blog posts (all four of them to be exact!) The pictures are out of this world. We are truly so unbeleivably lucky to have what I consider the BEST PHOTOGRAPHERS in the world photograph our wedding. It's true what they say, when it's all over you have your memories and the photos from the day to remember it by. The photos are simply amazing and true works of art. The attention to detail and creativity is second to none.

My sister sent every blog link to every friend and family member she has ever met while we were in Hawaii. The comments we have been receiving from friends and family are outstanding. People can not get over how amazing the photos are. My dad has called me every day since the wedding and chose one picture from the blog each day to discuss. His favorite so far... the one where my veil is blowing in the air... he describes it as a "magical moment."

I truly thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. I could literally sit here and go on for days about how amazing the photos are, but I know you have heard this a million times before from hundreds of other lucky brides who have had the opportunity to have you do their weddings. You are each so talented and creative to work with. it was an honor for me to be able to have you as my wedding photographers. I can't wait to see the other hundreds of photos and can't wait to visit you all and work on our album.

Thanks for making me look like a princess, feel like a rockstar, and capture all my dreams moment by moment! I can't wait to work with you again in the near future!

Nothing says "thank you" like buttercream frosting...

Much to our delight, Trish and I had cupcakes waiting on our doorstep yesterday... Jennifer from Sin Desserts had left us a few tasty morsels as a thank you for our snap and chat...

I am salivating on my keyboard...

Unfortunately Trish is OFF the sugar. She is a reformed cake addict and now must abstain completely or risk following off (or onto in this case) the cake wagon. She really wants one though... poor Trish....

Oh Well! More for me HA HA (evil chuckle).

I (Trish) met with Jasmin and Kevin last week to finalize and order their wedding album(it's going to be killer). To my delight they brought me presents! A bottle of awesome wine in a beautiful outfit, what's better than that?! Also a cute little "Snap-Happy" photo calendar. One for me and one for Melissa in appriciation of all of our hard work on their wedding day and the beautiful photographs that resulted. Well all I can say it that it was our pleasure and we are so thrilled that oyu are happy with your pictures...and thank you for the thank you! You didn't have to, you are so thoughtful and lovely!!!

Albums, Raves & Great Ideas...

Some of you may remember Michelle and Joe from this summer- they made several appearances on our blog... engagement photos, wedding, trash the dress session! Here they are again, well- their albums anyway!

Michelle ordered a two volume set of albums. She chose the navy blue with light blue ribbon to coordinate with her wedding colors. The albums each live in their own little presentation box. I love how they look stacked on top of each other!

And here is the inside of the albums... this one is Michelle's fine art B&W album.

After Michelle received her fab albums she sent us this awesome thank you note. The photo on the front is a shot Melissa took at her wedding. It's a photo of all the guests on the dock during her cocktail hour... Fun photo & a Great Idea!



How cute is this stamp she had made at Zazzle.com?! One of my favorite photos from the wedding...

As if that wasn't enough great uses of her photos- Michelle used some of the shots from her engagement pics on this cute card that she put into the gift bags for her out of town guests- Great Idea!

We love it when people think outside the box and use their photos in different ways!
